Oh What a Night!
Our Annual Music Concert was held at Melbourne’s iconic Hamer Hall, where over 500 students from Preparatory to Year 12 enthralled the audience with their musical prowess.
From the opening Acknowledgement of Country, Reclaiming the Spirit, performed on the cello by Angela (Year 8) to the grand finale, Recognise, we were captivated by the talents of our musicians. Our Preparatory – Year 2 Choir sang with angelic voices, while the Mandeville Strings gave an exceptional performance of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.
A special display by our Years 3 – 6 Choir, entitled Ratoh Duek (Sitting Dancing), combined curriculum-based learning in Indonesian with a performance that delighted both acoustically and visually.
We thank our Music Department, and all the students involved, for an evening of stunning performances, wonderful music, and a celebration of our Loreto Toorak community.
