Religious Education
As a Catholic school, Loreto Toorak aims to nurture and enrich the religious and spiritual development of our students through daily prayer, celebration of liturgy and sacraments, faith formation, and social justice activities.
Students in Rathfarnham are also involved in the school-based sacramental program. In Year 3 the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered, and in Year 4, the Sacrament of First Eucharist. Students who join Loreto in later years and wish to receive the sacrament are welcome to be part of these sacramental programs.
Religious Education at Loreto Toorak is an expression of a faith-filled partnership with parents, teachers, students and the wider school and Church community. It is also a curriculum area that all students undertake, as it helps develop a deep knowledge, understanding and specific skills.
