The Loreto Aquatic Learn to Swim is open to members external to the Loreto Toorak community and we welcome new students to the program.
The program is run by fully qualified swim instructors and caters for children aged 4–12 years old. We are passionate about providing an environment where everyone feels confident and develops a lifelong love of the water.
We provide an initial assessment for each child and assign them to a level based on their ability. Our student-to-instructor ratios are small, allowing instructors to focus on improving each student’s skills in stroke correction, water safety, and awareness.
A supervisor is available pool-side during lessons to assist where required. This may include moving students to a more suitable class level, supporting queries that teachers may have, and working with instructors to share best practices.
Training Times
The program is available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, and Saturdays from 8.30am to 11.00am.
Learn to Swim lessons run for 30 minutes. Pre-Squad lessons fun for 45 minutes.
Levels
Our Learn to Swim program has six levels, with students being placed in the appropriate level after assessment. The levels build core capabilities and skills to support swimming development.
