23 May 2024 back to previous Exploring Heritage and Art: Year 6 Excursion to Immigration Museum and National Gallery of Victoria As part of the Year 6 Humanities curriculum, our students experienced an enriching excursion to the Immigration Museum and the National Gallery of Victoria. Highlights of the day included viewing Frederick McCubbin's renowned painting, The Pioneer, and testing their skills with the Australian Government's historic Dictation Test, an assessment used in the early 20th century to determine migrant eligibility.
