At Loreto Toorak, we celebrated Languages Week with great joy. Our students and staff embraced the festivities, which featured music, food, and performances that highlighted the rich diversity of the languages we teach. This week-long event was a showcase of our commitment to multicultural education and the celebration of linguistic diversity.
Highlights of Languages Week
One of the standout activities was the Chinese Lion Drumming workshop, which provided students with a hands-on cultural experience. The rhythmic drumming and the impressive lion dance performance captivated each member of our community.
Students also enjoyed delicious Italian gelato and offered a delightful break from the usual school routine. The week culminated in a spectacular concert featuring songs from the four languages taught at Loreto Toorak: Indonesian, French, Chinese, and Italian.
