Over the course of two months, our students work closely with research scientists, gaining hands-on experience in the field of STEM. The program culminates in a presentation where students showcase their research findings, reflecting their hard work and dedication. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr Olga Panagiotopoulou and Christin Bird (PhD student) for their invaluable mentorship and inspiration. Their guidance has been instrumental in our students' exploration of topics such as: Neuromodulation as a discipline – next-generation implantable devices Electrical Stimulation and Vagus Nerve Stimulation Pathology of Rheumatoid Arthritis Anatomy of the Vagus Nerve Most prevalent complications of jaw fracture and fixation The management of temporomandibular joint disorders This program enhances our students' understanding of complex scientific concepts whilst igniting within them a passion for STEM. back to previous
