27 Nov 2024 back to previous Loreto Toorak Regatta: A Celebration of Spirit and Community Loreto Toorak proudly hosted our annual regatta in Geelong, and what a spectacular day it was! From the first light of morning to the final cheers of the day, the event was a true celebration of our rowing spirit. The day was filled with energy, determination, and camaraderie as our crews took to the water for a series of spirited races. A particularly heartwarming highlight was seeing our Year 8 students row for the very first tim; a milestone that marks the beginning of their rowing journey. Watching them rise to the challenge was a moment of immense pride for all. Beyond the competition, the regatta was a wonderful opportunity to bring our rowing community together. Parents, families, and the Rowing Committee were out in full force, lending their unwavering support and encouragement. Their presence and tireless efforts behind the scenes ensured the day ran seamlessly, creating an atmosphere of unity and joy. This event was not only a testament to the strength of our rowing program but also a reflection of our shared Loreto values.
